Amr Zaki, born in 1983 is, is one of Egyptian?s elite professional football players currently playing abroad. He began his career at Mansoura Club in Egypt before moving to Enppi where in 2006 he was top scorer. He impressed several international scouts in the 2006 African Nations Cup which alerted the attention of Lokomotiv Moscow who signed him for a reported $2 million.

An Egyptian international, Amr Zaki is an energtic player, strongth and technically able. But what impresses the most is his attitude.

He can play short and long passes and consistently gets into the six-yard box effectively; as was shown by the goal he scored with a towering header to take Egypt into the final of the 2006 African Nations Cup, which they eventually won.


The talented striker Amr Zaki has been targettedby several Egyptian and European clubs , such as Zamalek , Al-Ahly (both Egypt), Elain (UAE), Nantes (France) just to mention a few. However, the young stiker?s final decision was to start a Russian adventure.
