Ahmed Ghanem Sultan started his career with the famous Egyptian Club El Zamalek when he was 10 years old. His father Ghanem Sultan was a legendary Egyptian football player.
In 2005 Ahmed Ghanem Sultan was a member of the Egyptian U20 national team that played in the FIFA Youth World Cup U20 in Netherlands. Some european Clubs such as grrek side PAOK and french club Nantes had been keen to sign young defender Ahmed but he had choosen the offer of playing for Legia in Poland. So far he played 2 matches for the first team and 14 matches for the reserve team this season.
