Egypt national striker Mido fears he could have played his last game for Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ahmed Hossam (Mido) 23-year-old's 18-month loan deal at White Hart Lane is scheduled to expire at the end of the season and, with little progress having been made in negotiations for a permanent transfer, Mido looks likely to head back to AS Roma in the summer.
Mido, who has scored 13 times in 36 Premiership games for Tottenham Hotspur, is currently sidelined by knee and groin problems and, as he was unable to even undergo a fitness test ahead of last weekend's 1-1 draw at Arsenal, Mido looks unlikely to feature in the final two games of the season.
"Tottenham are still negotiating to keep me and I hope for that", Mido says.
"But if it doesn't work out then it's not the end of the world, because if I'm not here next season I'll be playing at another club."
