English Premiership club, Newcastle United are in talks with Italian club, Roma over Mido


Newcastle United are interested in Tottenham striker Mido.


Ahmed Hossam(Mido) is on-loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Roma and the London club has dithered over wrapping up a permanent deal for Ahmed Hossam(Mido).


The Sunday Mirror says Kenneth Shepherd, son of the Newcastle chairman, was in Italy last week watching Roma-Fiorentina and checking out the availability of Ahmed Hossam(Mido).
