Mido agent hints at Roma return

Egptian striker Mido appears unlikely to join Tottenham Hotspurs on a permanent basis according to reports from Italy on Thursday.

Doubt has been cast over a long-term deal at White Hart Lane for the on-loan AS Roma striker Mido in recent days. Tottenham has been worried about his recent injury problems that have caused him to miss vital games in the run-in to the end of Premiership season.
Now, agent Mino Raiola has been quoted as saying:

“Certainly Mido did not like being treated as an outsider at Roma but there is no problem between him and the club. I see that the Giallorossi are looking for a striker and that player could be Mido. My intention is to get Mido to return to Roma. Obviously it is down to the wishes of the club, but surely Roma will not sell him for such a small fee – he is still young. In the end they may as well keep him in the squad rather than sell him for almost nothing as he is a valuable asset.”
