Zamalek gave Talae Al-Gaish a 4-1 drubbing in the match that took place at the Military Academy stadium.


Wael Al-Kabani put Zamalek ahead from a penalty-shot in the 38th minute, Tarek Al-Sayed scored the second in the 42nd minute before Gamal Hamza and Abdel-Halim Ahli secured their side’s victory with goals in the 54th and 90th minutes.


Hossam Abdel-Aal scored Al-Gaish’s only consolation goal in the 59th minute.



Zamalek were awarded two spot-kicks, but Hamza blew the first one, while Al-Kabani scored the second.


Zamalek come second in the Egyptian league standings with a tally of 58 points, while Al-Gaish stand at sixth place with 34 points.
