Today SoccerEgypt presents you exclusive pictures of Egyptian goalkeeper and Swedish International Rami Shaban who has been selected to play for the Swedish national team in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Rami Shaban was born on 30th of June 1975 in Stockholm and is a Swedish professional football player. He currently is the goalkeeper of Swedish Division 1 Club Fredrikstad. Rami Shaban has an Egyptian father and a Finnish mother.
Rami Shabanstarted his career at Djurgardens before earning a move to Arsenal in August 2002. Shabanwas limited to five appearances for Arsenal over a two year period due to a series of injuries, including a broken leg. In January 2004 he was loaned to West Ham United for a month, but did not make any appearances for the "Hammers" first team.
In summer 2004, Rami Shaban signed for Brighton and Hove Albion on a short-term contract. After his contract expired at Brighton, he was released on a free transfer and snapped up by Fredrikstad.
Rami Shaban has yet to play at full international level for Sweden, although he was currently been called up to the squad for the 2006 World Cup.
