Ahmed Hassan's Side Anderlecht will face the Itlain Giants Ac Milian Today at 8:45 Pm .

This match marks only the second time the teams have met in UEFA club competition with the two encounters in the 1993/94 group stage ending goalless.

That was one of ten occasions in 13 home meetings with Italian visitors in which Anderlecht have avoided defeat.
Only one of those losses in Brussels came in this competition - when FC Internazionale Milano were 3-1 winners in the 2004/05 group stage.

Of those 13 games in Belgium, seven ended in Anderlecht victories.
Before that defeat by Inter (who won their home game 3-0) Anderlecht had shown little hospitality to Serie A visitors, conceding just two goals in their previous five home games. Their bid to win a third UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup was thwarted by Italian opposition, however, UC Sampdoria running out 2-0 winners in the 1989/90 final.

In their two games in the current campaign, Milan demonstrated their goal power in a 3-0 home victory against AEK before taking a goalless draw from their trip to France to face Lille in a match played at RC Lens.

Lille's Kader Keita caused Milan some problems but Dida was in a defiant mood in the away goal.
Milan's threats came from Alberto Gilardino and man of the match Kaká but the draw reflected the balance of play. It means Milan have suffered only one defeat in their last seven away games in the competition and are unbeaten in the last five.
