Tottenham Spurs suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of Reading by three goals to one.
After a relatively good start, Egyptian midfielder Ghaly won a penalty kick for his side and Robie Keane scored from the spot.

Reading's run of five straight defeats has come to an end with an inspired come-from-behind 3-1 win over Tottenham here.

Steve Coppell's side were back on level terms when Nicky Shorey drilled in the equaliser on the 38th minute and midfielder Steve Sidwell sent them into the break in front with a second goal in first half injury time Sunday.

Kevin Doyle wrapped up the three points with 11 minutes left on the clock to bring Tottenham back down to earth after last weekend's victory over Chelsea.
The result at the Madejski Stadium lifted Reading into 11th, one place above Spurs.
