Patrick Lodewijks will be unavailable for selection before next year after the keeper was slated for surgery on his meniscus. Lodewijks has been troubled by his knee since early November.
There was also good news as the Egyptian goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy likely to be on the bench a week on Sunday when Feyenoord travel to FC Utrecht.

Sherif Ekramy is as good as recovered from the shoulder injury that has troubled him for months. The unavailability of both Lodewijks and Ekramy for the last eight matches has meant that youth keeper Erwin Mulder has been a regular on the bench.
