Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan played his first official game for RSC Anderlecht last night as Anderlecht entertained Zulte-Waregem for the Belgian Supercup.

The game wasn't yet halfway through when heavy rain interrupted the match in Brussels´ Constant Vanden Stock-Stadium. Referee Ver Eecke decided at half-time that the continuation of the match wasn't an option and postponed the match. The score: 0-0 at half-time.

Ahmed Hassan played very well in the first half. The Egyptian starplayer created chances but also wasted some. Hassan was even brought down in the penalty box and seemed to have won a penalty kick for his side but the referee denied him. However, heavy rain made the game unplayable and so the match was postponed to a later, yet unknown, date.
