Two goals from Amr Zaki and Ahmed Fathi earned Egypt a 2-0 friendly victory over Sweden at the Cairo International Stadium in CAF’s 50th anniversary.

Amr Zaki grabbed the lead for Egypt two minutes before the interval when he ghosted behind the defense to head home Hassan’s inch-perfect cross at the far post.
In the second-half, Sweden failed to impose any threat while Egypt created rare opportunities.
Tottenham striker Ahmed Hossam Mido and Zamalek striker Amr Zaki were substituted amid standing ovation from the home crowd, with Mainz forward Mohamed Zidan and Ismaili’s Omar Gamal coming in.
Ahli striker Meteb almost doubled the lead in the 70th minute when he received Sayed Moawad’s cross with a glancing header that was tipped by Egyptian-born keeper Rami Shaaban, who replaced Isaksson in the second-half.
Ahmed Fathi ensured the win two minutes from time after firing a left-footed shot into the top corner of the net from the edge of the area.
