Mohamed Zidan continued to shine with Mainz and led them to a 2-1 home win over Nurenburg. Zidan scored twice in the 20th and 27th minutes to give his side a 2-0 lead. In the 2nd half, the guests clawed a goal back but Mainz managed to maintain their lead and won the match to move up to the 10th spot in table.
