Zamalek secured their place in the Arabian Champions league semis following a 1-0 away victory over Algerian side Ahli Bordj on Monday.
Abdul-Halim Ali scored that proved to be the winner eight minutes after the interval.
The victory maintained Zamalek's position on top of Group A with ten points, four ahead of second-placed Ahli Jeddah who face Qadsia later on Monday.
Ahli Bordj are third with five points while Qadsia lie at the bottom on four points.
