RSC Anderlecht which the the Egyptian captain Ahmed Hassan play for have beaten Racing Genk 0-1 during the first leg of the quarter finals of the Belgian Cup.

Follow up:

the Egyptian captain Ahmed Hassan participated from the Started and got replaced 1minute before the full time whistle

Nicolas Frutos scored the winning goal a quarter before the end of the match. It was a good match, a match in which Anderlecht also had a few good opportunities to open the score during the first half.

But also Genk created chances to score, Vandenbergh for example hit the goalpost in the beginning of the second half.

Anderlecht now have to finish the job in their own Constant Vanden Stock-stadium. The second leg is programmed on Wednesday 14 March 2007.
