Ahmed Hassan scored twice and dished out an assist as Anderlecht thrashed 10-man Racing Genk 6-0 at home and progressed to the Belgian Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Anderlecht had also won the first leg with 1-0. Von Schlebrügge, Frutos,Ahmed Hassan (2goals ) and Tchité (2goals ) scored the goals.

Genk took the best start with a few small chances. But after a few minutes, Anderlecht took the command of the game and never loosened their grip. A few excellent chances followed. Frutos could have opened the score, but Ahmed Hassan touched his shot, which was going in, from an offside possition.


The Mauves kept on playing at high pace with a fast ball circulation. On a free kick, Von Schlebrügge headed the ball in the nets: 1-0. The opportunities kept coming and Genk could only create some danger in the last minute of the first half.

Two minutes later, he also made the 5-0. and Ahmed Hassan completed the rout three minutes from time with a close-range shot.
