Mohamed Zidan came on in the first leg away clash in the Inter-Toto cup between Dacia Chisinau and HSV.
Eugen Boicenco fired the hosts in front as early as the sixth minute before Dutch playmaker Rafael Van der Vaart leveled the score in the 71st minute from the penalty spot.


Egyptian forward Zidan was introduced eight minutes past the hour mark to play his first competitive match for the Germans and help them grab the equalizer.


Hamburg will have an easy task to qualify to the UEFA Cup when they host Chisinau in the second-leg at HSH Nordbank Arena.
