Follow up:

Egypt doctor Ahmed Maged told reporters on Wednesday that the Hamburg forward suffers a foot injury that he aggravated during his side’s 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Zidan attempted to take part in Wednesday's training session but limped off few minutes with pain.

Egypt coach Hassan Shehata will also have to do without Ismaili left-back Sayed Moawad, who isn't expected to recover in time for the Burundi game after sustaining an ankle injury.
