Thursday night an agreement has been reached between K. Lierse S.K. and the Eqyptian defender Ahmed Samir (Aboul Amayem), international for his country.


Normally playing as a right-back, Ahmed Samir is actually a multifunctional winger either on the left and the right side of the pitch.

Ahmed Samir is 26 years old (°03-10-1998), 177 cm tall and weighs 77 kg; he started his career playing for the Egyptian Baladayet El Malahah at the age of 16.

In 2001 he was transferred to Zamalek, one of the top teams in the Egyptian first division.

With Zamalek he won the Egyptian Championship in 2002 and 2003, plus the Arab League in 2003.
In 2004 he moved on playing for Harass El Hedoud, again one of the better teams in Egypt.

Ahmed Samir is an established player in the Egyptian National Team.
