Egypt have booked the last ticket to the 2008 African Nations Cup finals with a 1-0 victory over minnows Botswana in the qualifiers Group 2 game on Saturday. Substitute Mohamed Fadl was the hero of the night as his 78th-minute strike proved to be the winner of a one-way traffic contest.
The African champions comfortably lead the group with 12 points as all other rivals tie at seven after Mauritania beat Burundi 2-1 in Nouakchott.
