Konyaspor were handed a 2-0 home defeat to Gaziantepspor.
Egyptian duo Mohamed Abdullah and Abdul-Zaher Al-Saka took part in the match but couldn't save their team from an embarrassing defeat.
Egyptian duo Mohamed Abdullah and Abdul-Zaher Al-SakaKonya lost by two goals to nil after a poor performance. They had a chance to finish 6th if they won versus Gaziantep but the defeat pushed them down to the 9th spot in table.
Konyaspor missed out on playing in the UEFA Cup next season as they finished in eighth spot on 45 points.

Abd Elzahr El-Saka and Ahmed Belal played an important role when their team Konyaspor draw with Turkish Giants Galatasaray. Konyaspor took a quick lead after the start against Galatasaray, as Eder struck a powerful strike to make the score 0-1 for the away team.


Later on Galatasaray found plenty of chances, and converted 3 of them by Ayhan, Ilic and Arda.
After 60 minutes from the start Ahmed Belal got Replaced by Ufuk who later scored the 3rd goal .
Later on Abd Elzahr El-Saka of konyaspor started playing as a right back and made the assist of Konya's second goal, which was scored by Erman: 3-2!

In the 95th minute of the game, Konyaspor won a corner, and while all the defense was controlling Abd Elzahr El-Saka, Umut of Konyaspor scored with a brilliant header to shock Ufuk Yen and to give Konya a precious draw... 3-3 the final score. Egyptian captain Abd Elzahr El-Saka was one of the best player of the match.

Egyptian striker, Ahmed Belal scored for Konyaspor to earn the team their first three points against Denizlispor in the second round of the Turkish League.
Ahmed Belal scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute from a rebound to lift Konyaspor to third place in the Turkish League with four points.
As reported earlier, Egyptian star Ahmed Belal will be the main striker for Konya this season. Belal started in last week's match and also this weekend.
On Sunday, Konyaspor played an away match versus Denizlispor.
Ahmed Belal and El Saka were amongst the starting eleven and both contributed to their team's success.

In the first half, Ahmed Belal scored in the 25th minute from a good follow. The goal came through a cross from the right wing, Tayfun met the cross with a diving header and the of Denizli goalkeeper (Suleyman Küçük)managed to save the attempt but the ball fell toAhmed Belal who tapped it in to make the score 0-1 for Konya.
In the 2nd half, Ahmed Belal was once again the most dangerous Konya player and almost scored another goal when he received a low pass and advanced into penalty area from the right side. He tried to bury the ball home from narrow angle but his shot went into the side netting.
The other Egyptian at the club, El Saka, played a very good match and was rated as the best Konya player along with Belal and the goalkeeper Ozden.

It should be noted that El Saka played the full match while Ahmed Belal was taken off in the 87th minute as Eren came on to replace him.
Before the win over Denizlispor, Konyaspor, playing their Egyptian duo Ahmed Belal and Abdul-Zaher Al-Sakka, drew in their Turkish League opening game against Sakaryaspor.
With this win, Konya go to 3rd in the table.

Egyptian national player Abd Elzaher El Saka is on his way out of Konyaspor after the board asked El Saka to reduce his contract payments by around 30% if he wants to stay at the club.
UNder such circumstances, Abd Elzaher El Saka asked for time to think about the new situation. He can stay at Konya if he accepts the fact that he will earn only about two-thirds of his previous salary.

On the other hand, former Konya manager Aykut Kocaman, who brought Abd Elzaher El Saka to Konya, negotiated with the Ankaraspor board and gave Saka's name to them as a possible transfer. Abd Elzaher El Saka and Malatyaspor's Toth and Bulent Akin are the three top names in Kocaman's list and the young coach may sign them during the next few day.
Abd Elzaher El Saka been selected for the Egyptian squad in their next international encounter against Spain on Saturday.

Today Egyptian striker Ahmed Belal made his excellent debut while he helped his side Ankaragucu to gain a very important win over Gaziantepspor. This win gave Ankaragücü a very important 3 pointes.

Ankaragucu had nothing to lose while they had been in 13th position and needed 3 points badly to avoid to be dragged into the relegation battle. Opponents Gaziantepspor were on the 12th place just one point above Ankaragücü.
Ahmed Belal, on loan from Konyaspor, scored the first goal for Ankaragucu 10 minutes from the beginning after a good pass from his teammate Aytekin'in Uzun.
7 minutes later, it was Ahmed Belal again who played an important role for his team with a wonderful assist to Umut Bulut who didn't face any problems to score the secound goal for Ancaragücü.

After 79 minutes Gaziantepspor scored their only goal of the match through Bayraktar Ali after an excellent pass from the Bulgarian international Zdravko Lazarov.
After 85 minutes Ahmed Belal received his 1st yellow card after dangerously challenging Gaziantepspor´s defender Mehmet Cogum.
2 minutes later Ahmed Belal almost scored his second goal in the match but he prefered to pass unselfishly the ball to his teammate Umutu Topla who wasted the excellent opportunity by shooting wide.
One minute before the end Ahmed Belal was sent off after he received his second yellow card. As a result he was shown the red card by the match referee for his dangerous tackle on the Bulgarian international Zdravko Lazarov.
