Zidan started in last saterday home match versus former champions Stuttgart. The Egyptian provided the assist to the first goal which was scored by hat-trick hero Olic who added two more goals. The home side took advantage from the sending off of Stuttgart's Pardo in the last minute of the first half and added another goal to end the game in an impressive 4-1 win.
Despite the many injuries that HSV had, Zidan and his teammates were up to the challenge and achieved a great 4-1 home win over the ex-Bundesliga champions VFB Stuttgart.

Stuttgart easily beat strugglers Mainz by two goals from Portugeuse defender Fernando Meira (26) and midfielder Roberto Hilbert (64).
Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan started the game but couldn't help Mainz end their seven-match winless streak, as their slim chances of keeping their top-flight status next season are fading.


They lie second from bottom with 31 points, five adrift of the safety zone with two games remaining.

Zidan played the full match and tried to score through his individual skills. Zizou had a shot denied by the keeper in the first half and near the end, he fired a bullet drive at goal that was saved by the keeper as well.
